| Born and bred in Leeds, Stuart started his career with York City spending 2 years in one of the most historic times in their history knocking Arsenal out of The FA Cup 1-0 then drawing Liverpool in the next round holding them to a 1-1 draw at Bootham Crescent before losing the replay narrowly 7-0. Leaving York Stuart joined Farsley Celtic in the Northern Premier before moving to London where he played for Carshalton Athletic. After breaking his leg in his first season he return for one more season before moving onto Edgware Town for 5 years until a horrific road accident ended his career at the age of 28. Stuart has since moved into coaching with Kingsbury Youth, Wembley Reserves then Assistant Coach for Harrow Borough Reserves before taking over as Reserve Team Manager in November 2007. |
